Orrin Hatch weighs in on the Brett Kimberlin menace

Sen.  Orrin Hatch (R-Utah), who was once a victim of a vexatious lawsuit filed by convicted terrorist bomber Brett Kimberlin, today weighed in on the ongoing Kimberlin saga. As Kerry Picket of the Washington Times reports,  when he was a prisoner Kimberlin sued Hatch baselessly blaming the senator for his failure at the time to win parole. The suit went down in flames. Hatch's office issued the following statement:
Senator Hatch has had run ins with Brett Kimberlin before and they weren't pleasant. So it's certainly no surprise that Mr. Kimberlin has now taken to harassing and targeting conservative bloggers. Needless to say, efforts to silence and chill political speech are contrary to the values of our Constitution and First Amendment.

VIDEO: Vadum discusses terrorist Brett Kimberlin on TV's The Source

I discussed the exploits of left-wing terrorist bomber Brett Kimberlin on "The Source" with Ezra Levant yesterday on Sun News Network (Canada). Here is the video clip of the interview:

Brett Kimberlin and the Hall of Fame of Leftist Terrorists

Here is my article from today's Front Page Magazine:

Brett Kimberlin and the Hall of Fame of Leftist Terrorists

By Matthew Vadum

The Left has a long history of embracing unrepentant, manipulative sociopaths, felons, terrorists, and mass murderers – anything goes, provided that they share the same political ideology.

In fairness, most liberals do not feel affection for the worst of the worst among leftists such as Mao Zedong, Joseph Stalin, Pol Pot, Che Guevara, or Peoples Temple founder Jim Jones.

But there are a few domestic radicals who have attained a kind of folk hero status in left-wing circles. Convicted cop killer and Black Panthers member Mumia abu Jamal, would-be GOP convention bombers David Guy McKay and Bradley Neil Crowder, ACORN founder and cyber-terrorism advocate Wade Rathke, Obamacare architect and convicted swindler Robert Creamer, Earth Day booster and murderer Ira Einhorn, imprisoned terrorist lawyer Lynne Stewart, Weather Underground leaders Jeff Jones, Bill Ayers, and Bernardine Dohrn, just to name a few.

“Speedway Bomber” Brett Kimberlin isn’t famous enough yet to have a cult following on the Left but give the determined, energetic activist time. A few short years after his release from federal prison the radical leftist has been embraced by all the right people, winning grants from the George Soros-funded Tides Foundation and wealthy celebrities.

He’s earned the confidence of leftist luminaries such as Teresa Heinz Kerry and Barbra Streisand who have sent money to his activist group, the Justice Through Music Project. The seven-year-old Bethesda, Maryland-based 501c3 nonprofit entity buys into the radical environmentalist agenda, supports the goals of the Occupy Wall Street movement, and claims to have registered 100,000 people to vote. (See its latest IRS Form 990 [tax return] here.)

This Maryland resident is a political trailblazer of sorts. Kimberlin is a tactical innovator whose tried and true methods would have impressed the father of modern community organizing, Saul Alinsky. The late conservative Internet entrepreneur Andrew Breitbart recognized Kimberlin’s unique talents last fall, tweeting that the convicted terrorist and his confederates needed “exposure.”

Self-Parody Thy Name is Brad Friedman

Brad Friedman of the Brad Blog is a desperate, energetic man with a lot of time on his hands.

The left-wing pseudojournalist hasn't quite recovered from the bitch-slapping I gave him in June for, among other things, downplaying ACORN's decades-long history of voter fraud. (He's also never explained why he's so close to a convicted domestic terrorist, his business partner the "Speedway Bomber" Brett Kimberlin. That's his privilege.)

Since I'm now Friedman's designated bogeyman on the right, he just predicted I wouldn't report on the incident in the Wisconsin recall elections in which Americans for Prosperity reportedly sent out absentee ballot applications to its own members that contained a typographic error that provided the wrong election date.

A sample absentee ballot application posted online by the Politico is addressed to an AFP member.

Friedman's correct that I wouldn't normally report on a minor goofup for which the group at fault has already made amends. As a red-faced AFP-Wisconsin state director Matt Seaholm explained, "AFP-Wisconsin is directly addressing this mistake by sending out a call to each and every individual on the mailing list to clarify the date of the elections."

Is this an attempt at "voter suppression," as Friedman hysterically insists, or a simple mistake?

I find it very difficult to believe that AFP would try to deliberately confuse its own members about the date of an election it cares so much about.

Perhaps in Friedman's mind AFP is conspiring against itself.

A "Master of Misinformation"?

With the eloquence of a homeless person scrawling his manifesto on scraps of paper, voter fraud apologist and left-winger Brad Friedman attacks me and my book Subversion Inc. in a lengthy screed.

It's worth a chuckle or two.

Mississippi NAACP leader sent to prison for 10 counts of voter fraud

The NAACP is trying to outdo ACORN in the realm of voter fraud.

While Stephen Colbert was busy mocking Republicans and this writer for daring to think voter fraud is a serious problem, NAACP official Lessadolla Sowers was sitting in jail, sentenced to five years imprisonment for 10 counts of voter fraud.

And this wasn't just voter registration fraud, one of the most common forms of voter fraud. Sowers cast ballots in the names of 10 actual people, four of whom were dead at the time.

All is revealed in a just-published article I wrote for The Daily Caller.

Of course none of this matters to kooky left-wing propagandists like Brad Friedman who thinks voter fraud is a figment of your imagination. (Friedman is a frequent fill-in host for sociopathic radio ranter Mike Malloy.) Friedman, like other socialists, communists, and Democrats says voter fraud doesn't exist.

Ha.

America needs to know that ACORN is restructuring in time to help re-elect President Obama in 2012. Obama used to work for ACORN and represented the group in court as its lawyer. Terrorist-Linked ACORN Shill Brad Friedman Lies, Lies, and Lies Some More

Left-wing pseudojournalist Brad Friedman thinks everything reported about ACORN is overblown. It's all a scheme concocted by a vast right-wing conspiracy. Clearly he hasn't read my book, Subversion Inc.: How Obama's ACORN Red Shirts are Still Terrorizing and Ripping Off American Taxpayers.

Friedman, who routinely chokes on his own robust self-esteem, is often a substitute host on the "Mike Malloy Show." Malloy has serious, shall we say, psychiatric issues. He has called for the murder of former President George W. Bush, described Fox News as a "terrorist organization" that "wants to burn the country down," and characterized Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (R-Minnesota) as a "whore," "streetwalker," and a "crazy bitch."

Filling in for his straitjacket-worthy buddy Malloy a few days ago, Friedman, who is also a business partner of convicted "Speedway Bomber" Brett Kimberlin (see mugshot below), unloaded everything that has been bugging him about the alleged persecution of the ACORN crime syndicate. (The audio clip is available at Friedman's blog. Click on "HOUR 1.")

Friedman thinks the undercover "pimp and prostitute" videos are a hoax and that Andrew Breitbart should be in jail. He wants the videographers, James O'Keefe III and Hannah Giles, to "pay" for whatever it is they supposedly did to poor little ACORN. He accuses anyone who thinks voters should have to present ID in order to vote as engaging in "voter suppression."

Friedman also doesn't seem to understand the term voter fraud, making a fool of himself on Fox News with John Fund in 2008. The obnoxious Friedman jumps all over Fund, insisting that voter fraud and the voter registration fraud that Fund is apparently referencing are entirely separate things. "There's a big difference" between the two, Friedman says.

In fact, voter registration fraud is a variety of voter fraud. Voter fraud (also called electoral fraud or election fraud) is a blanket term encompassing a host of election-related improprieties including fraudulent voting, forgery, impersonation, identity theft, bribery, manipulating a voting machine, ballot box stuffing, false swearing, absentee ballot fraud, and many, many other crimes.

In other words, all voter registration fraud is voter fraud but not all voter fraud is voter registration fraud.

This is Friedman's shtick. He uses it routinely to downplay the exhaustively documented crimes of ACORN against the integrity of America's electoral system.

Said Friedman on the Malloy show:
Where is the ACORN voter fraud? It doesn't exist! It never existed! There is not one single vote, no evidence - no evidence of any single vote ever having been cast following an improper ACORN registration. Not one fraudulent vote! For all that you've heard and how they're stealing elections for Democrats...never happened, not once! It's completely phony, it's completely made up, and it's made up for one reason - so that the same Republicans who are lying about it can turn around, pass bills that keep you from being able to cast your legal vote because they can't win elections if everybody gets to vote. They've got to game the system! And that's what they do, that's what they did! Democrats and Obama should be ashamed of themselves to have signed on for defunding ACORN, but they did it.
Tedious stuff.

For a refutation of Friedman's nonsense, read Subversion Inc.: How Obama's ACORN Red Shirts are Still Terrorizing and Ripping Off American Taxpayers.

Pedophiles Weep as Supreme Court Backs Congressional Cutoff of ACORN Funding

The U.S. Supreme Court today denied a petition for review from ACORN, ruling in effect that Congress was absolutely entitled to cut off federal taxpayer funding of ACORN, the depraved radicals who used to employ President Obama.

The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now had asked the high court to review a decision of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit which found that the funding cutoff was not a "bill of attainder" banned by the Constitution. ACORN had advanced the nonsensical argument that Congress had no power to stop funding the group unless it could prove it had done something wrong.

ACORN became well known nationwide in 2009 for its advocacy of brothels for pedophiles. Hannah Giles and James O'Keefe caught the group on undercover video offering advice on importing underage illegal alien sex slaves from El Salvador, tax fraud, and tax evasion.

As I write in my new book Subversion Inc.: How Obama's ACORN Red Shirts are Still Terrorizing and Ripping Off American Taxpayers, at least 54 individuals associated with ACORN has been convicted of voter fraud. ACORN itself was convicted of felony voter registration fraud in Nevada in April.

Not surprisingly, a chorus of useful idiots has arisen to defend ACORN, including but not limited to Eric Alterman and Katrina vanden Heuvel of the Nation, Joe Conason of Salon, Adam Serwer of the American Prospect, and terrorist-linked blogger Brad Friedman.

I wrote Subversion Inc. because America needs to know that ACORN is restructuring in time to help re-elect President Obama in 2012. Obama worked for ACORN as a trainer and represented the group in court as its lawyer. These radical leftists who use the brutal, in-your-face, Machiavellian pressure tactics of Saul Alinsky want to destroy America as we know it and will use any means to do it.
