Is A Criminal Probe of Clinton Near?

The U.S. Department of Justice has been asked to open a criminal investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's mishandling of classified information in emails she sent through her unauthorized, insecure private email server.

Whether such a probe, if it happens, will actually accomplish anything is a separate question. That's because the DoJ is headed by Obama appointee Loretta Lynch who is essentially a carbon copy of her predecessor, the corrupt Eric Holder, a man who was held in contempt by the U.S. House of Representatives and who came close to getting impeached for misconduct in office. 

If Obama wants, Lynch, who has longstanding ties to the Clintons, will run interference for Clinton in order to minimize damage to Clinton's campaign for the Democratic Party's 2016 presidential nod. Lynch could stonewall and obfuscate in order to run out the clock for the Obama administration which has only about 18 months remaining in office. And it is also far from clear whether Republican lawmakers, who control both chambers of Congress, will have enough spine to press their political advantage on the issue of Clinton's email malfeasance that more than likely put U.S. national security in jeopardy.

Obama administration officials at the highest levels were long aware of Clinton's cloak-and-dagger email infrastructure. The irretrievably corrupt Clintons created the system to frustrate Freedom of Information Act requesters, shield Hillary's correspondence from congressional oversight, and steer money to the international cash-for-favors clearinghouse known as the Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation.

Even as exotic new diseases and nearly-eradicated old ones keep popping up across the nation, the Obama administration is unconcerned, or some would say, recklessly indifferent, to the public health threat that Third World illegal aliens pose to the American public.

This isn't an observation from would-be GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump or some wild-eyed rube -- it's a devastating criticism that comes from two public health experts at the government's own Centers for Disease Control (CDC). It comes as deadly diseases surface or make a comeback in the U.S. Among those ailments are tuberculosis, pneumonia, paralysis-causing acute flaccid myelitis, dengue fever, swine flu, and enterovirus D68.

The two patriotic U.S. government employees, CDC Logistics Management Specialist George Roark and CDC Public Health Advisor William Adams were revealed to have complained in a series of emails June 9 last year about Obama rolling out a very long red carpet for people who have no right to be here and no desire to obey America's laws. This was around the time the Obama administration was trying to cover up the concentration camp-like facilities in which it was detaining Unaccompanied Alien Children (UACs).

Their comments were contained in an email exchange obtained by good-government group Judicial Watch in which the two officials rightly trashed President Obama for allowing a flood of sick young illegals into the United States.

In the email exchange between Roark and Adams, Adams wrote that “no country in the world would allow” Obama's massive influx of unwanted foreigners.

Progressives' Two-Pronged Attack on America

The modern-day progressive's abiding hatred of the United States of America and the eternal principles for which it stands is what animates the Left's efforts to cripple and destroy this one-of-a-kind nation.

It is fair to say that support for America’s enemies abroad and criminals at home are the twin pillars of progressivism today. Since in the real world left-wing social engineering schemes inflict great damage on the human beings selected for experimentation, progressives' most effective tactic is the smear, which they deploy day in, day out, when they run out of arguments, or increasingly nowadays, as their opening argument.

Two recent events illustrate the dual tracks on which progressivism operates in its never-ending campaign to bring down America.

The first major news event is the bizarre, outrageously generous settlement that the public learned last week will be paid out to the late Eric Garner's family.

New York City's ultra-progressive mayor, Bill de Blasio (D), is behind the settlement that comes on the anniversary of career criminal Eric Garner's unfortunate death in Staten Island. He died because he unlawfully resisted arrest by the NYPD and his body, weakened by years of disease, could not handle the stress.

De Blasio makes little effort to hide the fact that he hates cops and loves criminals, and this affinity for lawbreakers is reflected in his city's rising crime rates. His progressive roots run deep.

He is a longtime supporter of America's Communist enemies. During the Cold War he toured the Soviet Union and served as an organizer with the anti-nuclear, anti-American group Physicians for Social Responsibility. He was also a backer of Nicaragua's Soviet-backed Sandinista dictatorship. In 1994 when he married former lesbian activist Chirlane McCray, the newlyweds honeymooned in Fidel Castro's Cuba.

So it's safe to say that Mayor de Blasio does not have New York's or America's best interests in mind.

The settlement comes despite the law-breaking background of Garner himself.

After officers witnessed Garner selling individual (or "loose") untaxed cigarettes, a violation of a progressive-backed law that imposed sky-high taxes on cigarettes to discourage their use and fatten city coffers, they tried to arrest him with tragic results.

Garner was a serial offender well known to police. His arrest record dated back to 1980 on charges including grand larceny and assault. When he died, he was out on bail after being charged with selling untaxed cigarettes, driving without a license, possession of marijuana, and false impersonation.

In a video taken of the arrest attempted July 17, 2014, Garner made it clear he was not going to cooperate with police.

Bernie Sanders Is A Communist And An Ignoramus

Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders has been getting away for years with describing himself as a socialist, when in reality he is an outright America-hating communist.

This belief in communism is reflected in the Sanders platform. Even a brief glance reveals his plan to be hopelessly utopian and insane. It will extinguish freedom and shutter businesses and cause widespread suffering especially among the poor people he claims to want to help. It is a program for exporting the best and the brightest to places that appreciate them.

But identifying Sanders as a communist can be a risky proposition in modern-day America. The Left so dominates American culture that the word communist itself has become jarring, not because communism is bad but instead because leftists believe communism is good.

Left-wingers are students of George Orwell. They understand that language can be used for good or ill; to advance truth or mask it. To undercut the power that that emotionally charged word communism and its variants once had in this country when used by patriots to attack the nation's foreign and domestic enemies, the Left over time reversed its polarity. Over and over and over again in the culture, leftists drove home the false notion that communists were boogeymen invented by those who wished to control the population through fear. Another way of putting it is to say that the Left marginalized its own word in order to protect the profoundly antisocial idea it represents.

When many Americans hear the word communist today, their initial inclination is to believe that there may be something wrong with the speaker, as opposed to the person being described. As Ann Coulter wrote in her book,Treason, "In a stunning demonstration of the power of propaganda, accusing someone of having been a Communist makes you the nut.”

Sanders, like so many of his comrades on the Left, is committing a kind of fraud. It is time for this con man from Vermont, whose ignorance seems boundless at times, to be called out on it.

The hostility of the radical left-wing sheriff of San Francisco to America's prison system -- not just to federal immigration law -- may have been a factor in the decision to release a Mexican illegal alien who went on to murder young Kate Steinle.

Sheriff Ross Mirkarimi (pronounced: Meer-kah-ree-me) is taking heat for releasing Juan Francisco Lopez-Sanchez, a 45-year-old illegal alien with a second grade education who reportedly has seven felony convictions and has been deported from the U.S. five times. Federal officials had characterized the man who went on to shoot Steinle at Pier 14 on July 1 as an "enforcement priority" and filed an "immigration detainer" asking jail officials to hold him until they could take custody.

Mirkarimi refused to keep Lopez-Sanchez under lock and key because San Francisco as a policy openly defies federal law by refusing requests from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to hold over prisoners. San Francisco is part of the "sanctuary cities" movement that provides havens for illegal aliens by obstructing federal immigration enforcement efforts. The sheriff is an outspoken supporter of that movement.

The sanctuary cities movement gave illegal aliens permission to rob, rape, and murder Americans and is the product of decades of concerted collusion by radical groups like the ACLU and the misnamed Center for Constitutional Rights to get cities to pledge to violate laws that protect U.S. national security. Cheered on by the Left, sanctuary cities frustrate immigration enforcement efforts and shield illegal aliens from federal officials as a matter of policy.

While these so-called sanctuary cities have been hogging the media spotlight, very little attention has been focused on the sheriff's support for a related movement that would "end mass incarceration."

Mirkamiri's advocacy for the EMI movement suggests San Francisco's chief jailer doesn't believe in jailing people, especially if they're non-white or wanted by federal immigration authorities. The movement aims to gut law enforcement and empty prisons nationwide.

A fiery black opponent of so-called sanctuary cities whose teenaged son was murdered in cold blood by an illegal alien gangster from Mexico is cheering on Donald Trump for demanding that the U.S. government enforce existing immigration laws.

“I felt happy for the first time,” Jamiel Shaw Sr. said in an interview with Fox News.

“When that happened, I felt good. I felt hope. This is the hope that Obama thought he was gonna get. That was false hope."

Shaw was referring to the explosively controversial remarks by the ultra-high profile Trump, an outspoken New York-based billionaire who is seeking the Republican Party's presidential nomination for 2016. Trump became the focus of water cooler and social media conversations across America and beyond when he spoke last month of the problems that illegal aliens from Mexico cause the host country they invade.

"When Mexico sends its people, they're not sending the best," Trump said at the launch of his presidential campaign. He continued:

They're not sending you, they're sending people that have lots of problems and they're bringing those problems. They're bringing drugs, they're bringing crime. They're rapists and some, I assume, are good people, but I speak to border guards and they're telling us what we're getting.

Shaw said he hadn't planned on voting next year but he has changed his mind. Now he intends to cast his ballot for Trump.

The "sanctuary city" movement that gave illegal aliens permission to rob, rape, and murder Americans is the product of decades of concerted collusion by radical groups like the ACLU to get cities to pledge to violate laws that protect U.S. national security.

Cheered on by the Left, sanctuary cities frustrate immigration enforcement efforts and shield illegal aliens from federal officials as a matter of policy.

The Obama administration is fine with that. President Obama has made America a sanctuary country, rolling out the red carpet for illegal aliens, especially those from Mexico, to come to the U.S. and depress labor markets while they suck the nation's welfare state dry.

What these traitor cities do is itself unlawful, Hans von Spakovsky notes, but they get away with it because President Obama is determined to dismantle America's immigration system in order to flood the country with desperately poor, illiterate peasants from the Third World.

Obama wants to do this in order to wash away the rule of law tainted as it is by Anglo-Saxon jurisprudence, along with whatever stubborn residue of American Revolutionary enlightenment that remains deeply embedded within the tissues of our culture and free institutions.

Americans are being attacked and killed by illegal aliens in perhaps more than 200 so-called sanctuary cities across the country because subversive left-wing advocates like Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton have been working to undermine the nation's borders and immigration laws. Throughout this long leftist campaign those who demand that federal immigration laws be enforced have been smeared as racist and lacking in compassion. It's not fair that illegal aliens aren't given the same rights as U.S. citizens, they whine, mindlessly repeating vapid slogans like "no one is illegal."

Left-wingers in San Francisco should be hanging their heads in shame after their borderline seditious, destructive immigration policies allowed an illegal alien felon to murder a young woman randomly in broad daylight.

Nor did gun control laws prevent Juan Francisco Lopez-Sanchez, a 45-year-old illegal alien deported five times to Mexico, from allegedly firing one bullet into the upper body of medical device sales representative Kate Steinle on busy Pier 14 last Wednesday, a popular tourist destination. Steinle was cut down in front of her father and mother and died later in hospital.

No motive has been established for the shooting but Lopez-Sanchez is a five-time felon. An hour after the shooting, he was picked up by police roughly a mile away.

Although this violent thug pulled the trigger, progressives, through the laws they have enacted, put this man on the streets which allowed him to murder.

Federal authorities had Lopez-Sanchez in custody in March after he was set free from a federal prison. They transferred him to San Francisco authorities because he was wanted by them on drug-related charges. The feds filed what's called an "immigration detainer" requesting that the local authorities notify them before releasing the man.

But San Francisco, home of the most militant leftists in America, refused the request because local policy forbids it. The prisoner in effect got a "get out of jail free card" from the left-wing open-borders movement which argues that keeping illegals in jail violates their constitutional rights.

Is the Clinton Email Coverup Unraveling?

Federal investigators may be closer to seizing former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's illicit off-site email server as evidence emerges that she transmitted classified information through it and that key Obama White House officials knew about her clandestine email account for years.

On Tuesday the Department of State made available on its website 3,000 pages of Clinton's emails. Clinton emphatically declared months ago that none of the thousands of emails she sent using her hacker-friendly dedicated server contained classified information.

As it turns out the State Department had to redact 25 of the newly unveiled emails because they contained the very same classified information Hillary said she didn't send. This is but a fraction of the 55,000 pages of email the former secretary of state gave to the diplomatic agency for processing. Under federal court order, the State Department is conducting monthly Clinton document dumps after screening and redacting the emails.

Clinton has admitted that tens of thousands of the emails she sent that happened to be U.S. government property were deleted. Emails were scrubbed while subject to a subpoena from the House Select Committee that is investigating the terrorist attack on a U.S. outpost in Benghazi, Libya, that took place on Sept. 11, 2012.

More American journalists were involved in spying for the Soviet Union than was previously believed, according to new research published in the Journal of Slavic Military Studies.

Traditionally, research has focused on the role that U.S. reporters played as messengers, recruiters, and sources of information (and disinformation), but some of those "journalist spies also collected a large amount of secret diplomatic and military information" from 1941 through 1946 as World War II gave way to the Cold War, writes Alexander G. Lovelace of Ohio University. The article, published this month, is "Spies in the News: Soviet Espionage in the American Media During World War II and the Beginning of the Cold War." 

Throughout the life of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics only a tiny fraction of all U.S. journalists joined the Soviet espionage network. Quantifying the harm done is difficult but the information they transmitted to their handlers undoubtedly inflicted damage on both the U.S. and its allies during World War II and the Cold War. Some of these American journalists had access to the highest echelons of the U.S. government and provided the Soviets information of great value to America's enemies.

Lovelace writes that there were 22 journalists active as "[a]gents in the USA" in June 1941, according to a Soviet intelligence officer. The academic notes that "taken by profession, journalists provided the highest numbers of spies second only to engineers." After 1941 the number of American reporters spying for the Soviets grew.

From its unholy birth, the U.S.S.R. used journalists across the world as spies. Czarist-era publisher Aleksei Frolovich visited Finland in 1918 posing as a bona fide journalist. In the 1930s the KGB recruited syndicated columnist Robert Allen and John Spivak of The Call, the newspaper of the American Socialist Party. American journalists weren't merely "auxiliary for other communist groups," he writes. There is "an abundance of evidence that journalists contributed a great deal of secret information to the Soviets, which grew more important as World War II chilled into the Cold War." But much of the information procured by spies "between 1943 and 1945 was highly sensitive to the US war effort," Lovelace writes.
